Serving trays

Pre-war serving trays. Made of metal and porcelain in the early 20th century.

The depictions mainly included flowers or fruit. They were both utilitarian and decorative.

Every self-respecting housewife had a tray on the sideboard to serve coffee, spoon sweets, or fondant to guests.
