We at EnaMono love houses that talk, that tell stories, we believe in the passions that carve the corners, that are evident in the petty ginger midgets that occupy the little tables, that are scattered everywhere without any use. Nothing in the way we think is minimal, nothing is tepid. ENA MONO refers to that one single second when you said: I will change my life. I will find a way to remember my dreams and I will go\u2026 I will go see those distant rivers and seas, the mountains and the people who have always fascinated me. I will leave all my belongings behind and I will travel. of that one single second in which you said, I will change my life.<\/strong>. I will find a way to remember my dreams and I will go ... I will go to see those rivers and the distant marshes, the mountains and the people that have always fascinated me. I will leave behind all my possessions and travel. .
Yes, but how? How can I leave that little box of mother of pearl buttons and my bottles gathered from everywhere, pharmacy bottles, clear blue and green, bottles of other times when glass was for every use , back before our lives were plasticized. My favorite furniture what to do with it? My father's desk, the cradle I bought in a village outside Vienna and put my third child in it? The Galle collection vases and the stamps? Those linen sheets with the monogram, the wooden stairs where I put lights on and the room glows? All those objects that filled my life and are unique and beautiful , what to do with them? Not their place in a storage room, enclosed without air and human breath all the things that made up the setting in which my life played out.
And then my mind was enlightened and I made my decision. I will make decorative suggestions and share them with you. They will gently pass from my hands to yours. They are unique objects , most are ena mono but as they found themselves cuddled together in my home , so somehow they will find a way to conjoin with yours. .
Together, their stories will continue to be written; for each one carries a story.\nA story I know, and another one I imagined while gathering them from flea markets, attics, streets, relatives and loved ones.\nAnd perhaps at the same time, you will learn pieces of my own story as I let them go, in order to find new treasures in the places I will travel.
The ena mono will be a platform that will be a platform that, based on the objects, will become a step of communication between us. .
Writing is my other love.
