Sicilian chariots have been used since the 19th century to transport goods and are famous for their unique aesthetics and painted narrative representations.
Each province of Sicily developed its own style:

Today, the tradition continues with the three-wheeled vehicles Ape and with collectible miniatures known as Carrettini Siciliani.
